A lifelong passion and love for dogs led Michael Wildman to establish cLassie Dog Grooming, which was originally based in Ellesmere Port, but relocated to Chester, Cheshire in 2009.

Mike became a regular face on the dog show scene in 1990, when he only 10 years old.  He is a passionate lover of all dogs has been grooming and showing dogs for over two decades.  Mike has made up Champions for himself and other breeders in English Cocker Spaniels & German Shepherds, and has won major awards at dozens of Championship Dog Shows - including the World famous Crufts Dog Show, and shows in Europe and the United States. As a dog show handler, Mike has won Challenge Certificates in six breeds across three Groups.

In a major recent achievement Mike won 'Best Experienced Groomer' at the British Dog Grooming Championship 2011 (For more details Click Here!). To cap a wonderful day, Mike was presented with the Special Award for Best Technique. This was a proud moment for the self-taught groomer.  

Mike is a Dog Show Judge and is on The Cocker Spaniel Club and the Cocker Spaniel Breed Councils A3 list of judges.  Having been judging the breed since 1996.  Having passed all requirements to award Challenge Certificates for the Breed.  Mike has Judged over-seas at Breed Club Shows, and gives grooming demonstrations and tutorials at seminars in the UK and Europe.  He has also judged German Shepherds and other breeds in the Gundog group.

Mike was delighted to be invited to judge in Belgrade, Serbia, in September 2011, at a National Cocker Spaniel event.  Mike also Judged at the Super Cocker Show in Denmark in July, 2009.  For more information about the Super Cocker Show click HERE.
